Recognition

The French higher education system is characterized by the coexistence of several types of institution. There are: universities; grands établissements publics (major public institutions); grandes écoles (elite schools); administrative public institutions; private higher education institutions or schools. European Global School is established as a private higher institution to promote programs internationally. EGS offers higher education programs that are different from the French National Curricula and programs leading to French qualifications, which falls under the French Public Higher Education sector.

Accreditation

Accreditation is a quality assurance process that colleges, universities and education institutions or programs undergo to confirm that they meet a strict and recognized set of service and operational standards. Accreditation is assessed by private, nongovernmental accrediting agencies that have been created specifically to review education institutions and programs.
The importance of accreditation is that it creates a set of quality standards for all education institutions or programs, maintains private sector confidence, and makes transferring credits easier. Furthermore, accreditation aims to ensure accountability of institutes and degree programs which boosts public trust and confidence. When an institution or degree program is properly accredited, you are able to gauge its overall quality without having to conduct a detailed analysis on your own.

European Global School, Paris – France has gained Candidacy Accreditation by Accreditation Service for International Schools, Colleges and Universities (ASIC). ASIC is recognised by UKVI in UK, is a member of the CHEA International Quality Group (CIQG) in USA and is listed in their International Directory, is a member of the BQF (British Quality Foundation) and are institutional members of EDEN (European Distance and E-Learning Network).

European Global School, France are delighted to have been awarded ISO 9001:2015 certification, an internationally recognized standard that ensures their services meet the needs of students through an effective quality management system. EGS’s decision to work towards ISO 9001:2015 accreditation demonstrates their commitment to continually improving their services. To become ISO 9001:2015 compliant, the EGS underwent an extensive company-wide audit that included quality management system development, a management system documentation review, pre-audit, initial assessment, and clearance of non-conformances. European Global School were audited by LMS Certificate – U.K.

ISO 21001:2018 focuses on the specific interaction between an educational organization, the learner, customers and other relevant interested parties. It is a stand-alone management system standard, based on ISO 9001 (without being a sector application), and aligned with other ISO management system standards through the application of the High Level Structure. ISO 21001 provides a common management tool for organizations providing educational products and services capable of meeting learner and other customer requirements and needs. It aims to enhance satisfaction of learners, other customers, and personnel through the effective application of its EOMS, including processes for improvement of the system. The assessment was carried out by Globus Certification. Globus Certification is fully accredited by United Accreditation Foundation. UAF is accredited member and signatory of International Accreditation Forum.

Cedefop is one of the EU’s decentralised agencies. Founded (1) in 1975 and based in Greece since 1995, Cedefop supports development of European vocational education and training (VET) policies and contributes to their implementation. The agency is helping the European Commission, EU Member States and the social partners to develop the right European VET policies.

Founded in 1989, the European Association for International Education is the European centre for expertise, networking and resources in the internationalisation of higher education. EAIE is a non-profit, member-led organisation serving individuals actively involved in the internationalisation of their institutions through a combination of training, conferences and knowledge acquisition and sharing. EAIE equips academic and non-academic professionals with best practices and workable solutions to internationalisation challenges and provide a platform for strategic exchange. EAIE partners with key stakeholder organisations and institutions to promote our membership interests and advance international higher education in Europe and the rest of the world.

NAGAP, The Association for Graduate Enrollment Management is the only professional organization devoted exclusively to the concerns of individuals working in the graduate enrollment management environment. Membership in NAGAP provides an opportunity to network with professional colleagues at all sizes and types of institutions: large and small, public and private, secular and non-secular.

European Association for Theoretical Computer Science (EATCS) is an international organization founded in 1972. Its aim is to facilitate the exchange of ideas and results among theoretical computer scientists as well as to stimulate cooperation between the theoretical and the practical community in computer science.

Apply

To apply to join European Global School, applicants must fill in the application form online. Applicants must upload scanned copies of all the required documents in order to complete their application process.

HOW WE SELECT STUDENTS

Applicants are selected from the most promising of the eligible applicants and up to the limits of available space determined by the Admissions Office. Please note that the requirements for admission stated by EGS are in all cases the minimum demanded for admission, and their fulfilment by an applicant does not automatically ensure their selection.
